Is GlueArrow free to use?

The GlueArrow app is free to download and use. Core features — Hub feed, Plan threads, Scan radar, and Wallet — are all included at no cost. Some advanced features (campaign management, ad booking, premium intel) may require a subscription or per-use payment.

Why does GlueArrow ask for my phone number?

Your phone number is your GlueArrow identity. It links you to your ringprint record, your wallet, your ValueCard profile, and lets contacts find you. GlueArrow never shares your number with third parties.

I invited a contact but they haven't replied on WhatsApp yet — what happens?

The thread stays open and waiting. When your contact replies on WhatsApp, their message appears in your Plan thread automatically — you don't need to go back to WhatsApp. The Being will also notify you in the thread when they respond.

My contact is in my phone but GlueArrow says they are not on the platform — why?

GlueArrow matches contacts using their registered phone number in E.164 format (e.g. +233541234567). If a contact signed up with a different number than the one in your phone, the match will miss. Ask them to confirm which number they used to sign up.

I am a musician — how does GlueArrow track my airplay?

GlueArrow partner stations run SIRECORD hardware that fingerprints every song that plays. When your song is detected, it is matched to your artist profile and logged with a timestamp. You can see your detections in the Hub feed and on the Echoeboard charts.

I see two GlueArrow accounts under my number — what happened?

Earlier in the platform's life, signing up with different phone formats (e.g. +233 24… vs 0 24…) could create two separate accounts. We've since unified the identity layer, so the same phone now resolves to one identity across the app, mitwork, mitwork-pay, playtunes, the staff portal, and Korra. Any accidental duplicates have been merged. If you still see anything that looks split, email help@gluearrow.com with both phone formats.

Are messages in my Plan thread sent in real time now?

Yes. When someone sends you a message in a Plan thread, you'll see it within about a second if the app is open. The polling that used to take up to 30 seconds is now a safety net — most messages arrive over the live socket. If the app is in the background, you'll still get the usual push notification.

How do I get my station onto GlueArrow?

Visit the Store page at gluearrow.com to see the available hardware packages. You purchase a SIRECORD unit, we arrange installation. Once installed, your station appears in the Marketplace and your broadcasts are live on the platform.

Is GlueArrow available worldwide?

GlueArrow is a global platform. The app works with any phone number. The Marketplace and SIRECORD hardware can be deployed at stations in any country.

How do I report a problem or get support?

Open the app and tap the menu icon, then select Support. You can also email help@gluearrow.com. Your Being in the Plan tab can also log a support ticket on your behalf.

I bought a SIRECORD. What happens next?

Within seconds of the retailer scanning your SIRECORD as sold, your phone receives a WhatsApp welcome from your GlueArrow Being with the activation key, the serial, and a link to gluearrow.com/public/setup that walks you through three steps. If you do not receive it within five minutes, the retailer may have recorded the wrong number — ask them to re-scan with the correct WhatsApp number.

I am a retail partner. How do I get a scan token?

Register your shop in the GlueArrow Manager OS as a business with the type set to retailer. Once GlueArrow Operations approves and issues your scan token (starts with rt_), you can begin scanning shipments in and sales out via the retailer scan app. Email help@gluearrow.com to start the registration process — Operations will reach back to verify your shop and hand over the token through a secure channel.

I changed my SIM. Will my Being remember everything?

Yes — open the app, go to Settings → Account → Change Phone Number. We send a verification code to your new phone, you confirm, and your Being moves over with full memory of you. You can change phone once every 30 days. The old number becomes inactive on your account.

I started chatting with GlueArrow on the website before signing up. Did I lose that?

No. The Being remembers anonymous web visits. The moment you sign up or pair the website to your WhatsApp, your earlier conversation gets stitched into your account automatically. Nothing is lost.

Why does Scout sometimes answer instantly and sometimes feel slower?

Scout (and every other Being) checks four layers in order: an exact match against trained answers, a keyword match, a semantic similarity match, then an LLM as last resort. The first three are sub-100ms and run on our own infrastructure. Only the LLM step adds latency — and it's only triggered for genuinely novel questions. Most answers are instant.

I messaged Scout on WhatsApp and it didn't reply. What's going on?

Three checks. First, Scout asks for consent on the very first contact (a yes/no after the greeting). If you haven't accepted yet, it won't engage further. Second, single-word button labels like "Electrical Jobs" are treated differently from sentences — try a full sentence. Third, if you keep getting "Give me a second — say that again?", that's the safety fallback when generation fails. The system is being upgraded so fewer questions hit that path.

Why are dashboard stats showing zeros even though I'm logged in as admin?

Almost always a stale session cookie scoped to the wrong subdomain. Clear cookies for gluearrow.com and admin.gluearrow.com in Chrome DevTools, then log in fresh at admin.gluearrow.com/auth/ops/login. The new cookie is scoped to .gluearrow.com (leading dot) and is sent on every subdomain.
